General Information

WBA Development Centre is FA Charter Standard affiliated to the Gloucestershire FA. Our approach is to teach players using a progressive technical and physical training programme that has taken years to develop.

Our Outfield players & Goalkeepers receive from 52.5 hours to 105 hours of professional, Academy-level training per season.

What we do?

Our West Bromwich Albion F.C Development Centre is based at the prestigious private Clifton College for weekly training and games, which provides outstanding facilities, including a brand new fourth generation Astro Turf & Grass pitch.

Players have an excellent opportunity to rectify or nurture their physical, nutritional, social and technical shortcomings by investing in excellent teaching, increased time with our experienced staff and a proven training programme.

Each player’s progress is measured and monitored, and we provide a feedback to players every 6-8 weeks.

Throughout the year we organise friendly games against Premiership and Football League teams. We also enter squads into domestic and strong elite international tournaments within Europe.

How do we do it?

Our games and tournament programme means the boys are exposed to top English and European standards of football.
This is a fundamental part of our philosophy in developing the technical understanding as well as fitness, nutrition and social aspects of the individual player.

We invite our U12-U16 players to compete in the Junior Premier League. This is the highest development league in the country.

We provide our players with an Athletic and Technical program to meet the demands of the modern game.
